We are getting our spook on! Enjoy this crunchy salty-sweet snack mix at any Halloween party! It’s so easy to make, even your kiddos can help!

Here’s what you’ll need:

Microwave safe heatproof bowl

Measuring cups and spoons

Baking sheet

Microwave

2 cups of your favourite cereal

1 cup of pretzels

1 cup of bugles

1/2 cup of chocolate cookie crumbs

1/4 cup of brown sugar

1/4 cup of butter

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup of creepy crawlers (gummy worms and candy bugs)

In a large bowl mix cereal, pretzels and bugles together dry. Set this bowl to the side.

In a small heatproof bowl, add brown sugar and butter, melt in microwave on medium heat until dissolved. Add vanilla and stir.

Slowly and carefully pour hot butter-sugar over cereal mix, then sprinkle with cookie crumbs and mix.

Place bowl in microwave and heat for 2 minutes.

Remove and pour onto baking sheet to allow to cool before gobbling up like ghouls!
